What are some of the typical duties of police officers in your country? Describe some of the activities in detail.

The police officers in korea have a wide range of duties from dealing with theft, to solving disputes, to keeping traffic moving.
When police are working on the road, they could be directing traffic or testing people for alcohol or even at the scene of a crash.
When they are working on a theft, it could be that they are chasing the burglars or just taking statements from victims.
Although there are regular duties for a police officer to attend to, I don't think there is such a thing as a normal day for a police officer.
